Glock connector.

How do you guys like the connectors for a lighter pull on your glocks? I'm pretty much used to my trigger but I switch a lot between shooting a 1911 and a glock so I would like to take up SOME of the pull. Whats the standard weight of pull for a glock 17? around 6 pounds? Just a SWAG. I find when I switch from my 1911 to my glock 17 I shoot a bit low and left for the first few rounds or so, Think It's because I'm pushing the gun because of that trigger pull. Thanks for all advice.

Stock is 5.5lbs. Most go to the 3.5 connector. That couple with a trigger polish does make for a nice clean pull IMO.

What was once called the 3.5 connector was corrected by Glock to 4.5 which is closer to the actual weight of that connector. I had one on my Glock 34 polished up by Bruce Gray and it was fantastic.

Glock and others make it, mine was from the factory and polishing up even the stock 5.5 connector will give you a cleaner pull.

I installed the following on my G19:
- OEM 3.5# (4.5) connector
- NY1 trigger spring
- "25 cent " polish job

The result was a smoother more consistent trigger pull similar to that of a revolver

I used an LWD 3.5# connector

You can find several good youtube vids on how to do the trigger polish. It's really easy. If you have a dremel with a polishing wheel on it you can can do tear down, polish and reassemble in amout 30min.

The polish job is just putting a smooth, mirror finish on some of the internal metal-to-metal contact points in the trigger mechanism so they move more smoothly against eachother.

The polish with the connector makes for a nice clean pull that definitely helped tighten up my grouping/accuracy. And will only cost you about $20 by the time it's all said and done.

Does the NY1 trigger spring really make a considerble difference in the pull for a Glock? I have a Scherer 3.5lb trigger connector, and while it does feel better than the stock Glock trigger connector, I'd like for it to be smoother (I'm spoiled by my TLE's trigger).

check out Vanek custom connector. They use GLOCK OEM connector and add their magic to it. Very sweet. I paid $35 for mine.
