A question from wa. Need some advise

Hey guys sorry if this is a redundant post, I live in wa and I'm thinking about buying a glock 19 gen4. There is a good possibility that I may be moving to ca in the near future. My question is should I get 15rd mags now and 10rd ones later? If I understand correctly I won't be able to have 15rd mags in Ca?

    Thanks for the help,

You can not legally import large capacity magazines into CA.

However, you can legally import magazine parts to CA. You can keep the magazine parts dissassembled & never assemble them while in CA or you can use the magazine parts to build permanent 10 round magazines.

I would get both magazines. Get the 10 round magazines for use in CA and the 15 round magazines (which will be kept in parts while in CA) for use outside of CA.

I would load up on 15 round mags in Wa and bring them to CA as parts kits. You can pick up 10 round mags at gun shows in Wa for around $10 each.

This...If I had known about this when I was in WA, I would have sold all those AK mags I had for so cheap.

Yes, unless you want to run featureless, which really lacks appeal IMO if you don't have the full capacity magazines.
