Don't see em on the roster. Looks like a updated Sigma. Reliable and accurate nonetheless.

Wanting to hear the CalGuns opinion on this guy.
First, there is a reason why they're are cheap and not popular. Second, the gun is not on CA roster. Third, if you want to compare it to a glock, then get a S&W M&P... not the SD series.

Yeah all the reviews have been positive that I have read as well...They are not popular or we do not hear from them because we are in CA and not allowed to own it. After reading a few reviews in magazines and online, I would get one considering the price and the accuracy but alas, I am in CA and left wanting.

When is the last time you read a gunrag that didn't give a glowing report of the piece they were reviewing? :/. I played with the SD at a local gun store (Law Enforcement) a few weeks ago. The trigger was horrible. The SD is a newer version of the Sigma. Most people buy the SD or Sigma are first gun owners. There are better choices out there. There is a reason why S&W not pushing the SD version instead of the M&P. S&W uses the SD series to target new shooters or first time gun owners.

What is there about the design of the SD that makes it cheaper to produce than an M&P?
