    Glock 20 night sight help

I recently purchased a gen 3 glock 20 an I am looking to put some night sights on her. Trouble is, every night sight seems to have critical shortcomings.

    For example...

The trijicon night sights are bright at night, but very difficult to use during the day.

The tru glo TFO (tritium fiber optic) are bright and easily visible day or night. Bulky, 90 day warranty, reputation for breaking easily.

I am looking to hear from people with night sights on their glock(s) and what you would recommend to a new glock user.

Trijicons are the best, and they support the game of shooting competition. I have turned in Trijicons over 15 years old and they were replaced, no problem. Night sights offer no advantage in daylight over plain black on black, or fiber optic fronts.

Not sure what you mean about the trijicons...I love them the best. They are on most of my pistols.

I know what you mean with nightsights being harder to pick up during the day. But of the ones out there, I also prefer the Trijicons for the front.. They have that nice, white tube surrounding the vial that helps make it stand out a little more.

That's what I use(d) on my Glock 17 and P226 home defense guns...

I also like the Trijicons for my Glock 20. It also works great with the Lone Wolf conversion 6".

Mepro's are good too. I have a set waiting to go on a G19 soon.

G23 & G26 with Trijicon - awesome don't have the problem with day light.

G34 with Tru Glo - on this the front sight has a bright orange sticker (with a hole in the center for the glow at night). True Glo isn't as bright at night but it still works fine for my purposes. Haven't had any issues with breaking or damaging them.

In the end I would prolly go with the Trijicon, but True Glo isn't bad.

I have a set of Trijicons on my G21SF. Good sights. In the past, I've also used Ameriglo sights. They come in a number of sight styles.
I'm retired. That's right, retired. I don't want to hear about the cop who stopped you today or how you didn't think you should get a ticket. That just makes me grumpy!

I have a set of Meprolights on my Glock 27. These are extremely bright at night and easy to see during the day. They work excellent in low light as well. My buddy has a year old set of Trijicons on his M&P 9c, and my Meps are slightly brighter than his.
