Springfield Armory Trophy Match 1911.... anybody here own one or have shot/handled one?

I'm thinking about getting one, but can't seem to find one in a local store to check out. Thoughts?

I am going to make you very happy. I saw one at Gunrunners in Duarte, CA 6 days ago. It was pre-owned but never shot if memory serves me correct. The best part of it was the price. $1100. It was in Stainless Steel. It had target sights and front strap checkering. It was a Trophy Match. If I hadn't just purchased a MC Operator online, I would have been tempted.

Yep. Not even sure if it was preowned. The owner called the item new and said someone owed him money.
