Blocked Epoxy Mag Question

Hey guys,

I just blocked my XDm mags to 10 rounds using this method.

However the metal piece in the front portion of the mag body fell off (I must have not put enough epoxy on it and let it sit long enough).

The rear metal piece is still there and I tested it and it's still blocked to 10 rnds. Does anyone know if the front piece of metal needs to be there?

to clarify. I guess i'm asking 2 questions.

#1 is it an issue w/ the follower

#2 is it still legal?

i say attach the plate again to be on the safe side for both legality issues and possible follower issues as well never know
