    Glock and Picatinny Rails

So... Is the Glock 21SF the only model Glock that has an integrated Picatinny rail? I notice even the Gen4 Glocks still persist with the Glock Rail...

A tad bit annoying that everything I have can use things like my light(s) with Picatinny rails exept my Glock.

The Glock 21SF with picatinny rail was a left over for the cancelled Joint Combat Pistol program, which specified a picatinny rail. That's why it's the only Glock with a picatinny rail.

Also, the picatinny rail Glock 21SF has been discontinued from production.

What light can't you adapt to your Glock? I've used TLR-1's and a x-300 fine.
My opinions are my own and do not represent the position of other companies I may be involved with.

My Surefire X300 mounts to my 3 gen G19 perfectly using the "universal" insert.
TLR-1 also mounts fine with the "GL" insert.

What light are you using that is causing so much "" ?

I didn't mean that they won't work, but swapping the light between a Picatinny-equipped gun and the Glock means I have to swap out the locking key on the light.

I have to keep one light set up specifically for Glock-only if I want to have one ready to go. That is the

I see... interesting. I wonder why they don't just go to Picatinny on all their Gen4 pistols like some of their competitors?

Going picatinny would mean that agencies that bought 50 or 100 or 2500 Glock 17 gen 3 and then buy Gen 4 to replace them would have to spend another 30% or more for new holsters as well. The gun/light would not fit in the Glock rail-designed holsters.

Oh wow. Ummm not trying to be a smart *** but if you don't want to get another light for your gun, why do you want to buy another gun for your light?
Just get another light. It's cheaper than buying another gun and most pistols use the universal rail system than the picatinny
