    XDM Mags

I am being stationed in Cali soon and need to find out what my options are for my XDM's. I looked around a little but didnt find anything new on the subject for CA compliancy on the XDM. Can I install the mag blocks or are there 10 round mags for it?

    Thanks

I think....THINK you are exempt while stationed here, on active duty... I'm sure someone will be by soon to tell me different.

The more I read the more frustrating it is knowing I am headed there. On the plus side I can still shoot just not the way I am used to. I dont think I own a 10 round mag for any of my handguns except for my 1911. There should be a 10 round mag hand me down project in Cali.

We shouldn't need one in the first place.

There are no factory made 10 round XDM magazines, except for the XDM-45.
HS Produkt and Springfield Armory have stated in the past that they have no intention in making them for the XDM-9/XDM-40.

The following website link is to a guide on how to make 10 round XDm magazines.

Keep in mind that the mods have to be permanent, in order to comply with CA law [PC 12020(c)(25)(A)].

There is no exemption for a person in the military.

There is an exemption for the military [PC 12020(b)(30)(C)].
They are not individually owned, the mil/gov owns them and issues them out.

A person in the military can not legally import large capacity magazines into CA, unless the mil/gov owns the large capacity magazines.
