does anyone know if you can get a 10 round magazine for a bersa 85 ,this is the double stack 380 , have a friend wanting to sell me one of these but worried about magazines

I took a look at CondorsFlight, and they didn't have magazines for the 85. And that site has a LOT of Bersa accessories. You're looking for a magazine for a gun that had a short production run of 5 years and that run ended in 1994. I think you'll be looking at the used market and the quantity and quality would be difficult to guess.

Block original mags to 10 rounds

I owned a Bersa model 85 with three 13 round magazines. I found it to be a fine shooting .380acp handgun. I only saw one (Clinton) 10 round magazine, in a Tucson gun shop. It may still be available - Murphy's Guns - (520) 881-7074.
