    another roster question - m&p45

been looking for a polymer frame 45acp pistol. my first choice was the glock 21, but even the sf just doesn't quite fit my hand right. smith and wesson's m&p series fits the hand well but i was trying to look for the dark earth frame version on the roster, it says on the description it's there, but the item number is different... anybody out there knows for sure that it's legal for our sad state or not?

    roster:
    M&P 45 (Mag/Thmb Sfty) Dk Earth Bro SKU 109056 / Stainless Steel, Polymer Pistol 4.5" .45 ACP 2/12/2012

roster sku says 109056 but the closest i find on sw website is 109156

Can't answer your question but agree the M&P full size fits a hand excellent and that's why I bought one.

    Good luck

Where are you located at? Just get it via single-shot conversion if it actually isn't on roster.

Yes, that is curious. 109056 is not on the S&W website, but it is on the roster.

I would email S&W and see what they say.

I own a black M&P 45, and it is a joy to shoot.

          another roster question - m&p45

I personally did not like the feel my Glock and just picked up the M&P 45 in black. Have not had time shoot it but it feels way better than my Glock did. I was looking for dark earth myself when purchasing one and could not find a gun shop that carried them here in the Central Valley.

that's why i'm seriously considering the m&p because it feels worlds better in my hand than a glock. i guess i can try emailing s&w or if i have to pay a visit to valkyrie or trp...

Valkyrie should be able to get it for you if all else fails. That's where I got my off-roster M&P9 from, and I've seen them order the two-tone (silver/black) M&P9, so I don't think you should have a problem with ordering a dark earth framed version.

Another member PM'd me Re: my M&P9 Pro. He ended up telling me he ordered the two-tone silver/black. I was at VA on Wednesday picking up my 2nd mag, and I saw a silver/black M&P9 Pro sitting in the display case. When I asked, the guys there didn't say it was sold yet, but i'm 99% sure it's for the Calgunner who PMd me.

$650 for the two-tone, same price I paid for mine in all black!

omgah... they have one in the case right now? there aren't enough months in the year to manage all this 30-day nonsense.

Yeah, it SHOULD still be there. Again, I was there on Wednesday and they said it wasn't sold yet. Sooo, if that guy bought it already, he wouldn't have been able to pick up yet....gives you some time to check it out in person! hahaha

I wasn't aware that the finish is a Cabela's exclusive. I guess it's no so exclusive if VA can order 'em.
