I am considering getting the 22lr conversion kit by Sig. I've heard that the slide does not lock back after the last round.
I know I can count the rounds fired to prevent this but wanted to know if dry-firing the conversion kit is bad.
I've also read that sigpower.com makes a follower that will allow the slide to lock back after the final shot.
I see the 22LR as a "training" tool so by dry-firing after the last round it could help reveal flinching and muzzle dip (similar to revolvers after the 6th shot). Since this is rimfire, an eventual dry-fire will occur at the end after 10 shots. Will this damage the gun?
