    Question on frame only transfer

    A seller in So Cal (LA) is selling a Sig P226 can a "frame only" with other misc parts can the frame be transferred legally? If going through an FFL?

    Not unless it is a PPT transfer.

      pretty sure the frame needs to be DROSed, when buying 1911 frames it needs to be shipped to a FFL and DROSed.

        Yes, frames need to go through an FFL. (Personal Experience)

          Yes they can (and must be) DROSed, but as another poster said they must be done as PPT and cannot be shipped from one FFL to another.
