Sig 226 Blackwater

Hi Guys,
I'm in the market for a Sig or Glock right now. I ran into a used Sig Blackwater. I'm wondering If I should jump on it. Not sure about the total round count and he's asking $950. This a good deal?

We-ell, I've heard the only difference between the Blackwater and the Tactical offered by Sig currently is branding. The Tactical Operations P226 is marked as having an MSRP of $1,285 new.

Side note: the P226 TacOps is not Ca complaint, which may or may not matter.

There are two separate Sig 226 Blackwater models. The Blackwater Tactical (not on CA DOJ list) comes with four 20 round mags. The regular Blackwater comes with three 10 round mags ( 15 round outside CA) and is still on the CA DOJ list.

I'd much prefer a .40, like my 226 Equinox!

That's what I initially came in to look at. I wanted a 226 Equinox or Elite. The fact that it's limited is the only reason it's so appealing.

I was planning on doing just that P226R Equinox or standard in a 40.

The price is decent for the blackwater. It would be a steal for an Equinox.
