Hi everyone,
I returned from an overseas trip and the last thing on my mind was buying another gun since I don't have the money, but a friend, who is a dealer, has offered a Sig 229 in .40 S&W at a good price. I think it's a refurbished police trade in, but I can't test shoot it before he DROS it to me. So, I'm going to go to Target Masters since they said they have a Sig 226 for rent. The question is, how much different is the 226 from the 229 in handling? Are the trigger pulls similar? Sights similar? Any input from Sig owners greatly appreciated.
Oh yes, I went to the Reeds sale today and found out at the S&W table they are giving away 2 free magazines for pistols purchased in June and early July. I'm getting two free M&P9 compact magazines! At least I hope so. This is the only good thing to come out of the visit to Reeds.

, I have gotten a little tired of the snappy recoil of the 0.40, and have been shooting my 226 9mm the most lately.
