I'm done with my new third gen Glock 22. First time out, I had many failure to go into battery and with further shooting it now includes locking the slide back in the middle of the magazine count. Also, out of the box, it shot high 8 inches at 15 yards. I have a G23 and G21 that have been flawless and I love them. But, life is way too short to deal with anymore of the anxiety this gun has caused me. Bye bye G22 and good riddance.

8 inches high?

I think you should get it serviced by glock before dumping it, at least give them a chance to fix your problems!Be the change that you wish to see in the world.Mahatma Gandhi

Sounds operator induced. Locking the slide back in the middle of the mag sounds like your activating the slide stop with your thumb. Shooting high... well sounds like bad trigger control unless a few people used it and the same thing happened or it was put in the sled. Now the failure to go into battery, Not sure. I would at least give glock a chance to make it right.Comment

I would definitely confirm that those problems are the gun and not some weird fluke in your shooting. Then, if it really is shooting 8 inches high at 15 yards, failing to go into battery, and locking the slide back in the middle of the mag, send it to GLOCK and I'm sure they'll do all they can to return to you a perfectly functioning gun."The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. get it fixed, jebus.
don't tell me you seriously think the gun is supposed to be that way.The Range is a place where you carry a gun around and spend most of your time shooting it.
The Real World is a place where you carry a gun around and spend most of your time not shooting it.
Plan Accordingly.

I'd fieldstrip it, and clean it well and take it back out. Sure it could be a lemon, but 98% of the time its operator error. If it keeps acting up and your damn sure its not you, send it to Glock and have it looked at.I'm done with my new third gen Glock 22.
