    Colt Defender question

Does the Colt Defender 3" 1911 have a mag disconnect and loaded chamber indicator?

Why would they not be required on any new pistol Colt submits for the CA roster?

Since it was on the roster before those requirements were added it's not needed. The Colt Agent, which was brought out later, is not listeed - although Guns, Fishing & Stuff somehow has a "new" Agent for sale.

Thanks, I found information that it was first introduced in '98. I thought it was a newer model, introduced in '07.

            Thanks for your input.
