    Kahr PM 40

I'm looking at the Kahr PM 40 w/CT Laser sight. Is this gun approved for sale in the PRC? And if so, does anybody here have experience with it? Its a really compact gun only .94" wide and I'm think'n it might just be the cat's meow for CCW.

I am almost positive I saw some deals for the PM40 on slickguns.com

The PM40 is on the approved list, not sure about the one with the laser from the factory. If not you can always add it later. I prefer .45 and .40 to 9mm but in the PM gun line I went with the PM9 for a couple reasons 1. Mine is for pocket carry and the PM9 is just barely small enough for that role. 2. Although the .40 is not much bigger it is a little thicker and in a gun that small 9mm is about the limit for fast accurate follow up shots, for me anyway. Mine is just a back up not my main carry gun.

I wanted a PM40 also, but going on the advise of many PM40 and PM9 owners, I went with a PM9, yes it's not as powerful, but one more round, and more manageable recoil for faster follow up shots.

My son is still considering selling his NIB XD40SC for a PM40, if he gets one, I'll shoot them back to back and make a final comparison.

I think any of the Kahrs are the cats meow for CCW use.

I'm really looking forward to the new CM series of Kahrs, PM size, CW quality parts and CW price $400 bucks or so.
