Plus your eligible for glock armorers course, CMP program and competitions.
That is not OTD price. You forget to add tax and DROS.

OC Indoor Shooting Range in Brea, CA is competitive with Turner's, maybe a little cheaper on off sale items. Turners has some good sale prices.
GSSF is cheapest if you willing to put out time and effort to save the $.
          Good luck.

That GSSF price is pretty nice for a non-first-responder price. $460 for the pistol after the membership and such isn't bad... most dealers in the SFBA that I've seen price them around $500+ for civilians, last I saw. Is there sales tax on GSSF orders? Shipping?

I don't want to be tempted to consider another Glock though. I'll forget I saw this.

Yes there is sales tax on GSSF orders. A G17/19 for instance would be $495 OTD.

My understanding is that there's no shipping though, you have to purchase in-person at a shop that participates in the GSSF program. The closest one I've found in the San Jose area is "LC Action Police Supply" on North 1st St. in San Jose.

You seriously might just want to consider signing up for GSSF NOW to get the process started. It took me awhile to get my membership kit in (contains your membership card, which is needed to purchase through GSSF program). I spoke to the lady processing GSSF applications, and it's a 1-person operation.

You have to get pretty lucky to come across a used G19 for under $450. :|

Was that earlier last year? The price went up not too long before I bought mine in December. Oh well, it was still a great deal.

I bought 3 last month. They were $398.20. Those are LEO price. $425 is for GSSF member.

Interesting. Was that from Proforce? They can do some extra good pricing. The $425 price I got was right off the price sheet I saw for LE pricing.

The way I look at it, the new GSSF program's price ($425) technically costs the same as the Old GSSF Program's price ($398.20). Confused? lol

Why? becuase with the new GSSF program, all Glocks except subcompacts comes with 3 mags. Whereas the old program they only came with 2 mags. So the extra $27 is really just buying a third mag. Minus the mag, and you are back to ~$400. But if you bought a subcompact, then yea, there is a price difference. But some dealer might not try to give you that third mag, so make sure it's included!

Also, something people don't know about GSSF. With GSSF you are allowed to buy one Glock per calendar year. Meaning, if your membership was in FEB 2010 (expiration FEB 2011) and you bought a Glock sometime in 2010, when 2011 comes around, you can buy an additional Glock at the same discounted price on the same membership. Cool eh?

This has been confirmed by a bunch of people at Glocktalk and by Ed Public's Safety, a reputable Glock vendor.

Oh, and you don't have to buy the glock in person with GSSF, you can buy it online no problem. But you just have to find one who participates in the program.
