HK P2000 V3 trigger weight mod?

HK do not offer trigger springs for the P2000 V3, DA is 11.47 lbs, SA is 4.5 lbs. Is there anyway/any gun smith (like Bruce Springfield or Bruce Gray, etc) can mod it to a lighter weight, especially in the DA mode? Cause the 11.47 lb is pretty freaking heavy, may like to drop it down to about 7 lbs.

I like the DA/SA feature, just prefer a lighter weight, at least with the DA.

    Thnx

Could it be any clearer? Any law that infringes on our right to keep and bear arms is a violation of the Second Amendment and is unconstitutional.

If you can find a lighter hammer spring in the diameter and free length of the original, it will lighten the trigger (the hammer spring is the spring that comes loose off the hammer strut, when you change backstraps). Some guys cut coils off, but that shortens the free length which may or may not create other problems.

You will know when you went too far when you start getting light strikes on the primers (fail to fires).
