i am looking for a Pelican gun case i want something small that will hold 1 maybe 2 handguns any suggestions

Pelican 1470. It has built in locks. It holds four comfortably, but I've fit five in there when I puzzle them around.

I bought the 1495 for my laptop, but I believe its teh same case(just different internals). It gets a little heavy after a while, but you can't beat the quality.

I recently picked up an 1170 which will fit a full size pistol and couple mags and box of ammo to use when I fly. I previously had borrowed a 1400 case for a flight, but it was much larger then I needed to took up to much room in my checked bag. The 1400 would easily 3 or 4 full size pistols though if you layered them.

I have a 1430 that I've been pondering how to set up to hold pistols... I think with some planning you can stand pistols up vertically and get 3-4 in there plus space for magazines... I think the GunCruzer pistol 5-pack is based on the Pelican 14xx case, but I'm not positive.

I have another 1430 that I've used in the past to fly with my camera equipment.

edit: I must be losing it. I have the 1450... not sure where I pulled xx30 from.

I have this case and the cylinder locks on it are awesome. Kill 2 birds with one stone it being a lockable and excellent quality case. It can easily hold 2 pistols. I have my G21 in it with 5 mags but I was being super conservative with the foam spacing. I'll try to snap some pics later.

pictures would be cool. i sort of like how the GunCruzer places the pistols vertically though, which allows you to fit a lot more of them into the case, but seeing various layouts would be neat.

i figure i already have a 1450 with pick and pluck foam sitting here, so i will try to figure something out someday.

Quick and dirty pics. 21SF on the left. I didn't cut anything out for the desiccant, I just lay it on top of the foam; looking at it I need to recharge it. I just placed my G19 on the right just to show that it can easily hold 2 pistols, maybe even 3.

Yeah they just recently merged.

I have a Pelican 1495. It holds 3 guns with mags. I fly with it often. It can be padlocked also has a built in combo lock. I get a discount at the Pelican factory and this company has better prices than my discount.
