I order it online from Cabela's and it usually takes a couple days to actually ship, then normal shipping time is about 4-5 more days to receive.

I buy the PMC Bronze bulk pack. Just picked up 4k .45acp from there.

Think I'll take a trip over there sometime. Don't have the money to buy these bulk orders

Take a look at the shipping, and compare the sales tax. Depending on how large an order, it sometimes costs less to ship it than to pick it up in Reno. Also, Cabela's frequently offers $20 off coupons, or $5 shipping, etc. Watch the sales and you can get a good deal.

An ammo order, if it's in stock, will be processed in a day or so, and take about a week to arrive UPS. Cabela's has great service.

ouu, coupons Well I'm talking about in Feb. when they can't send ammo over here, maybe I'll drive over there sometime. I'm probably not going to buying any ammo online before this ban.

So order the ammo and have them ship it to the Reno Cabelas. You get free shipping that way and guaranteed your ammo is in stock.

I don't get it? They're banning ammo? What are the new laws for firearms?

I ordered 1k rounds of American Eagle .223 on a special a few weeks ago and it took around 2-days to ship and a week to arrive. I've ordered ammo from Cabela's before without any issues. Make sure to search the web for coupon codes. The one I used last time offset the freight.

I have 100 rounds of 9x19 Critical Defense on backorder. It was supposed to be in stock 12/30 but still hasn't shipped. If it doesn't ship by Friday (1/21), I expect Cabelas will cancel the order. I don't care enough to call about the status - it was a last-minute panic order, I have a stockpile of Gold Dots and I can get the Critical Defense when i go to Reno in the spring or summer.
