To be honest, unless you're going to war, the Streamlight TR1s is just as capable and less than half the cost.

Good option is cost is part of the equation.

I would suggest brightflashlights, it's the most inexpensive quote I received anywhere with shipping included.

Brightflashlights is your best option. I was amazed at the discount I got.

If cost is your primary concern, look at the Streamlight TLR-1. In the end, I wanted the best tool and got the Surefire.

I doubt most of the people who use Surefire stuff pay retail prices (LEO/mil/etc.), otherwise they might not be using it.

Surefire DG switches are what set the x300 apart.

Don't know of any deals but I have both the TLR-1 C4 and the SF X300. I like the X300 better but got it for a great price. Dont think i would pay retail for it. The TLR-1 C4 is a very good unit at a good price.

I bought a springfield mc operator about a month back. I started looking for a nice holster when my brother gave me a new safariland SLS 6004 tactical drop leg holster. But it wont fit unless I get a surefire x300. I am not to excited about the price. Do you guys know of any where they give a good LE discount that might help curve the cost. thanks

I saw a NIB Surefire X300 (110 lumens) going for $175 in the "Private Firearms Parts & Accessories Sales" section... wasn't sold the last time I checked.

I have three X300s that I bought second hand, none were abused.

If you wait, the deals will come.

You can try e-bay, do a search under Surefire.
