Ghost 3.5 problem

So I am installing my 3.5 connector kit and after the first attempt to reassemble the firearm it wont fire. I read to expect this and that it was a sign that the tab needed to be filed down more. The problem is I cannot get the slide to come back off so I can file the tab more because the gun wont dry-fire. How do I get the slide off? Usually I remove mag, rack the slide, dry-fire, pull back a quarter inch, pull down tabs and the slide comes right off the front. The last part is just not working dammit.

Nevermind, just read the answer, what a *****...

Take the slide cover plate off. Take the firing pin out and you should be able to take the slide off.
