Get the RTF... If it's too rough just use a little 400 grit on it to take down the sharpness a little. I've got one and love it. Best grip since the 2nd gen guns.

As has been stated it's a Glock, so your good to go. The RTF feels a little to rough for me personally, and I also dont like the new slidecuts, but for the price it's not half bad. I think T&A armory is getting some G3's in and has one on consignment.

Edit; Here's the link to the sale, New glocks $540 OTD w/3mags. Consignment at $435

The 17 RTF has been advertised through numerous Turner's weekly ads at this price so don't be in too much of a rush. The RTF has the best grip, although I've never had an extended range session with it. Personally, I'd buy one in a heartbeat but the Turner's guns have the crescent moon slide serrations which, had they been turned 180 degrees would have actually been helpful but in their current configuration actually suck.

And yeah, what's with the G17 shortage? Even gallery of guns has been out of a lot of Glocks for several weeks.

I bought one of the turners g 17rtf the first time the ad ran and I love it. I'm not glocktista but the rtf has converted me to a supporter. I've run 1000 rounds through it in 6 weeks with perfect results. Go get it if you can.

I love my G17RTF2 as well. It looks great and feels awesome in the hand. Shoots lights out accurate too...

Also, it is now discontinued for public sale, so it will be rare and harder to find in the future.

Like Kennmark. Once I fondled the G17 RTF2 this was *the* glock to get and I made my first gun purchase ever! It grabs your hand and doesn't slide around and feels slimmer than the standard pebbled finish.

I like the slide serrations as well since they offer more grip than the shallow vertical slices on the standards. Now only if then can make this for G34. I'm gonna assume acquiring a G19 like this is gonna be a little tough.

I don't care about the G22 since I'm not into kBs!
