    Sig P6

Has anybody picked one of these up? I am probably going to order one on Thursday. I've been wanting to get one for a while since they expire off the roster next month and now I have the cash. Just wondering if anybody has purchased the LE trade ins.

    Cheers

Oh well. Its still an excuse to buy one!!! Not that I need an excuse or anything...

It looks like a sweet little gun. And the price isnt bad either. I might use it for some IDPA. Course thats what I said about my XD9 too.

I like mine. It has the best in-the-hand feel of any Sig I've fired, and my girlfriend likes the feel, too.

Neat gun, and at a good price. The only thing I don't like about mine is the ugly import mark on the right side of the frame.

I have a Sig 225/P6 and everytime I go to the range...it comes along. I like to start and finish my session with my Sig....a great gun, very accurate.

It's probably my least favorite handgun I own.

Miserable trigger, and lousy grips. The only aftermarket ones I know of to put on there are expensive wooden ones. I'd just like some basic Hogues.

There are MANY better firearms out there IMO. The chief thing I like about the P6 is the history, and as such I probably won't sell it.

A local FFL went ahead and ordered mine today. He said they would ship it out on Monday. I'm excited about it. I love 9mm and the sig is such a good price that I had to get it. Man, Tom Petty was right, the waiting IS the hardest part.

                      Waiting sucks huh
The only thing I dont like about my P6 is getting mags. Not cheap.
                      Otherwise its laser beam accurate.
Too late now but the Turners in West Covina has one with an EXCELLENT finish on it. Not all faded like mine.

I bought some pretty good condition P225 magazines from Southern Ohio Gun for around $15/ea around two months ago.

DROSd it on Thursday...should pick it up a week from Monday. I was pleasantly surprised at the finish. Very little holster wear, it doesn't look like it was fired at all. The box it came in was in horrible shape so i was expecting the worst. I can't wait to get it to the range. I'll post pics when I get it. I really hate waiting....freakin' 10 days BS.
