Kimber tactical custom II, who knows a lot about them?

I'm looking at purchasing a used Kimber Tactical II, and I noticed that the slide has a little bit of play. Is a little play between the slide and frame normal for Kimber's? Also, do you think the price is right at $850?

    Comes with:
    Night sights
magazine speed loader at bottom of frame

Yes, and the price is OK, nothing I'd write home about.

Don't plan on writing home about it, but thanks for the info.

I have a tactical custom II, all handguns have a certian amount of play in the slide rail to frame fit. My tacts fit is very tight but yes you can observe a very small amount of movement if you torque it sideways. So I think the amount of movement you are getting is the key. My gun is at roughly 2000 rounds fired and the play has not increased since new. $850 is a fair price for one in very good condition. It is an alloy frame gun so if you buy it stay away from pointed steel mag followers, they will dig into the soft medal just beneath the feed ramp.
Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.
