    Just this... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mauser

Mauser made pistols up to 1995, then ownership changed.

depends on if they have any special markings and the condition. Not able to tell from the pictures. General price is around $300 for the mauser and $200 fro the dreyes.

For ease of online research - the top gun is a Dreyse Pistole not a Dreyes. Damn German never makes sense.

                1914 Mauser, that is.

Bad spelling and bad eyes. The little Mausers look pretty identical. I have a 1914 and 1934 and the size next to each other is my way of telling the difference.

If anyone cares, I think it is pronounced Drrray-sa. You roll the "R". The "D" sound like you started out saying "T" but changed your mind and said "D."

You can also tell by the curve in the pistol grip. 1934s will have a much more pronounced curve.

To the original poster, your 1934 can be worth anywhere from $200-$600+ depending on condition and markings. Hard to tell from your pictures. Coinicidentally I just posted pics of a 1914 and 1934 that I picked up last month in the C&R forum.

I think they are neat little pistols. Note that they are striker fired! Most think that Glock invented striker fire, but it was already in use way back in 1910!

                        Nice find!

1914 and 1934 were chambered in .32 ACP. 1910 was chambered in .25 ACP.
