Corbon Ammo in .357 Sig

So I purchased a Glock 32 from a calgunner a couple weeks ago, to compliment my 31. I have a Lone Wolf .40S&W barrel for it, but I tend to stick with the .357Sig for coyote control on my family's property, as it's a very flat-shooting accurate round that I can obviously easily carry while plowing fields and doing work in the fields. I decided to try out some Corbon powrball in their 100 grain flavor of .357Sig, running at a screaming 1600FPS, with 568ftlbs. of energy.

My first impressions with their ammo yesterday wasn't very good! I never had any issues with cycling, and the components of their ammunition seemed to be pretty decent. At 7 yards I had ridiculous key-holeing, blinding muzzle flash, and I couldn't get any of the 20 rounds I had to form any kind of group. I'm a very good/well practiced shot, and at 7 yards I had rounds flying off the paper. Has anybody else had any issues with their ammunition?

eh, maybe a dumb question-- did you put the .357 sig barrel back into it?

NOT a dumb question at all! LOL . . . Yes, that was the first thing that I checked. I had two magazines, one with powrball, and the other with Hornady XTP. I ran through the powrball, pausing after each shot to try to figure out what was going on, then immediately loaded XTP with awesome results. Also, I keep my .40 barrel and ammo in a completely separate container from the .357sig.

ive had good luck with corbon jhp, never shot a .357 sig though. never tried powrball either... simple solution is to not buy that stuff anymore, i guess. sorry i couldnt be of more help.

Maybe just stick to the intended bullet weight of 357SIG?

No worries, you gotta start from the beginning! Well, I'm thinking that they use 9mm bullets that can't handle the extreme velocity, but I don't know enough about ballistics to take a stance for sure. For now, Hornady XTP is my .357 Sig round.
