I actually have one that's been sitting in a box for a couple years. It can with the gun when I bought it used. I tried it a few times and it didnt seem very accurate at all. I didnt like the blinking light, and I also didnt really trust it replacing vital components of the Glock.

I have a Crimson Trace laser on my P220 and TLR-2 laser on my 1911 and those are dead nuts accurate.

I use a LaserMax on my Glock. Works great. Never a problem with operation of the weapon.

I have a Lasermax with my g21sf and I think it's great. It doesn't add bulk to the frame and I can use the bolsters I like.

Worth it? No IMHO. Money can be better spent on night sites and training.

More training will not help my eyes close-focus in low light situation. Age, it happens to all of us. Either use the laser sight, put on glasses or just point and shoot without using any sights.

As I said above, it works well. It is not a end all sight, but an aid to be used when needed.

I haven't tried one, but I would think remembering to turn on the switch right before you decide to use the gun would be iffy. The Crimson Trace grip has the big advantage that the switch is instinctively activated when you grip the gun before firing, and equally easily turned off.

I have read that the LaserMax system isn’t reliable for the glock. I have heard of them breaking. I have also heard that the on/off switch is mushy. Plus they are not adjustable. Some guys say they are dead on. Others say off by a mile. But it is hard to say how good the shooters really are in either scenario. So I would say subjective. I do not like that they are not adjustable.

I have read much better reviews on Crimson Trace. They are adjustable. Durable. Comfortable. Last a long time.
The laser I used was a rail mount. It was right on after the adjustment. But, like I said it add bulk.

About the money part… I don’t think any laser system is worth over $100 (at the most). You can by a strong laser to torment your cat or dog with for $10 or less. So the technology isn’t what you are paying for. Not even the application. It’s people marking their product way up because they know we can’t resist buying every accessory there is for our guns.

I agree with Erik,

Your money is far better spent on training and ammo. Conventional, reputable training employs the philosophy of focusing on your front sight, the laser compels you to do the opposite. There is no windage or elevation adjustment and although the laser offers a clean overall look, the lens becomes heavily fouled after little use. The easiest way to create a malfunctioning Glock, is aftermarket parts.

Lasers are great for carry guns meant to be shot from retention or belly guns, but wouldn't recommend them for anything else.
