I have the V3 in 9mm and I highly recommend finding one to shoot before you buy it. I wouldn't of bought mine had I been able to. The trigger reset is way to long for my taste.

I recently purchased a Sig to replace it.

I had my regular LEM trigger P2000sk converted by changing the two small springs. My trigger pull, from FIRST to LAST round is 4.4#. If I ever had a light strike on a round, the DOUBLE-STRIKE trigger pull (without racking the slide) is 7.5#. I personally measured my trigger pulls using a Lyman electronic gauge. (I say "if" because it's never happened in thousands of flawless rounds.)

You carry the LEM with a round in the chamber. Each and every pull of the trigger is at the lighter weight.

My understanding is that you cannot convert the P2000 DA/SA to a LEM trigger. You can do that with the USP model. I'd recommend getting the LEM trigger and dropping in the lighter springs. It's a very nice, smooth and crisp trigger. And safe enough to carry with one in the pipe and no external safety. The longish trigger pull before engagement handles that.

It's been a while since I shot the v3 but I can say that the trigger reset on my light LEM (v1) is pretty short. It's easy to do follow-up shots while staying on target. The v1 and v2 reset points are the same, just the trigger weight differs.

The reset is very distinct, not mushy at all. Trigger pull is very smooth too, not gritty.

My experience exactly. My V1 modded V2 P2000 is excellent.
