    H&K P2000 Variants

Just curious, I read somewhere that the other variants, V1, V2, V4 are not CA approved. Is this correct?

"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed."

Could it be any clearer? Any law that infringes on our right to keep and bear arms is a violation of the Second Amendment and is unconstitutional.

    V2 & V3 are on the Roster in both 9 and .40

    V1 is a V2 with light springs.

BTW, you can turn a V2 into a V1 by changing out the springs. I highly recommend this mod, makes the trigger very sweet.

I have the V2 with LEM trigger. It is the smoothest trigger I have ever owned.

        V3 - DA 10 lbs / SA 7.5 lbs

Theoretically, I guess most people will prefer a more consistent pull from the first to the last round. Typically, this gun sells for around $800+. However, I can get a sweeeet one time deal on a V3 for $680 (brand new). Is it that big of a deal between the two variant's trigger pull, the DAO and DA/SA differences?

        Thanks
Whoa...$680 for a new P2000 V3? Would love to know where.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but on the v3, SA is only 4.5lbs...

I definitely think my P2000 9mm (DA/SA) is turning into one of my favorite pistols---I predict you will feel the same way. By the way, my DA runs approx 11 lbs and the SA is right at 5 lbs---perfect for a SD firearm.

a SA @ 7.5lbs is still REALLY heavy, I wouldn't buy it if it the SA is at 7.5lbs, 4.5lbs sound about right, just like all the other DA/SA Sigs.

I'm looking at a P2000 .40 also, maybe a HK45c if I decide to shell out $1200 to Valkyrie to do the single shot conversion... but if I can find a P2000 at < $700, I'd jump on it.

Please let me know what you find out about the SA pull... & confirm whether it's 4.5lbs or 7.5lbs, if it's 7.5lbs, I'm going to cross the P2000 off my list.

The SA trigger is 4.5lbs, it is right on their web site under the specifications for the P2000.

The V2 LEM has a light trigger pull. It really feels as light as the V3 in single action except with a longer pull. The V2 is a very good trigger if you're willing to get used to it. The v3 will be good right off the bat since you're probably already used to DA/SA. The v3 also has a short reset as well. As in you pull the full length of the trigger and as you're releasing, you only drop the trigger about halfway and pull the trigger again for follow-up shots.

However, the problem with the info on that page that I noticed is with the V2, which is not correct, since the V2 is DAO at 7.3 lbs, so, why they are stating that the SA is 4.5 and DA is 11.47 for the V2 also, makes no sense.
                            v2 is 7.3lbs http://www.hk-usa.com/civilian_produ...00_general.asp

The V2 trigger comes stock at 7.3lbs.

The V1 (which is not on the roster) uses lighter springs (3 springs total need changing to get to V1) and sets the LEM trigger at 4.5lbs. I did not like the V2 trigger at all. I had H&K put the V1 springs in my V2 and it transformed the gun. It is now my favorite 9.

I believe the V1 and V2 options are really to offer LE armorers the option of a more idiot proof V2 or a lighter (and in my opinion vastly superior) V1 trigger.
