Difference between Gen3 and Gen4 Glocks?

I searched a little bit, but there are TONS of Glock threads.

I want more Glocks. The 2 that I have must be Gen3's since I bought one in 2008 and one recently but it's identical to the other.

    What are the differences?

would say a “sf” gen 3 be the same as a gen 4(with small backstrap) in the grip size?

No problem, this is what forums are for, to help.

From what I hear, that is correct. Gen 4 frame with the small backstrap is similar/is a Gen 3 SF frame.

Glock 22 Gen 4 not on California Approved List

My understanding is that Glock 22 Gen 4 is not on the California approved list and cannot legally be sold through California gun shops. I don't know about other Gen 4 Glock's.

They're not. Only single shot exemption or LEO for a new purchase from an FFL, or a PPT with a person that already has one.

One day I'll have one. One day. And it will be a sad day.

Sorry to thread jack, but the original answer seems to be answered already. Any idea if any FFL offers the blue label with a single shot conversion? Preferably in the greater Sac area. /threadjack

"BLUE LABEL" Glocks are available for LEO only. They come with 3 hi-cap mags (Gen3).
