Can I ship a xd sub to myself from Alabama to California?

Is the xd sub legal in California?

Can I ship the hi cap mag or not bring it into the state whatsoever?

Yes it is legal in cali
The mags have to be disassembled once you cross state lines

I have one of these... the standard shorty mag is 9 rounds for .40S&W

The newer ones come with a 12-round service magazine (the normal capacity state ones).

Not sure about shipping a firearm to yourself, why not fly with it...if you trust the airline.
