    Sig P255 p6 or P250?

My buddy has a P6 (P225) and I am ready for one too. Not sure though if P250 is a better option, if legal. I can buy a P6 here locally for $475 out the door, or get a 250 but not sure what it will cost me.
    a. is P250 legal in our wondefool state?
    b. is it overall better gun considering all the flexibility it offers?

    Thanks!
I did look at the roster & it shows P250 in 9mm good to go, but nothing in 40sw that is my preferable caliber & the local store I called, says none or P250s are legal in Kaliphonya

I used to be on the p250 bandwagon....I have shot them and really like them....That being said, over 1/2 of the people I talk to that have put any substancial amount of lead down range with them, have had issues with them....Then, major issues with sigs customer service.

I'm a sig guy, but the two above issues are why I bought an XDm 3.8......Best decision I have ever made about a firearm. The p6 is a great weapon and you can not go wrong with it. Give sig another 2-3 years to work out thier issues with both the firearm (all new ones made in the US) and the customer service IMHO.

if you want the P250 just get it in 9mm then get the caliber x change kit, honestly though it's not worth it. I used to have a P250, and just buying the kits and what not, before I knew it, the price of parts, I could of just bought another gun

i still have a .45acp kit if you so happen to need it in the future

$475 for a P6 is REALLY expensive. I paid $340 out the door for mine.

Had 2 p250's, yes it took 2 of them to teach me a lesson. Now I have a sigpro, there is a reason sig started producing them again!

            thank you all,
I am so glad this form exists!
Sounds like a bad idea for 250, Gryff how long ago and where did you buy your P6? It does sound like a sensible purchase for me rite now.

I bought mine about two years ago (or whenever it was they first flooded the market). You can still find them in the low $300s, though:

If you get a group buy going, you can get one for $300.

                thanks,
that's where I was going to get mine. No group buy, so it is 329 plus handpick 20 plus delivery 22 plus the cheapest transfer 30 plus Fed. fees 25 plus tax is about 453
so for 22 bucks I hopefully have less hassle if buy locally
btw, I was the one that talked that buddy of mine into buying one when it was 240
