That is normal for some guns. The Wilson magazines use a very lightweight follower spring and sometimes do not have enough spring pressure to push the slide lock into position on the last round. You can try switching the spring or having a smith tune your slide lock to get it to work with those mags.

I would try out a few different brands first before deciding to buy. I prefer the ACT/Novak Mags because they work good, have a nice finish, and metal followers that wont gouge your frame. I also like the Wilson Combats.
