Sometimes A Gun Is Just A Tool

    1972 Smith Model 36 Chief's Special

Crimson Trace and grip wrap won't win any beauty contests, but my beautiful wife keeps it in her nightstand, and she can shoot it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. That pistol looks sexy enough to me, and very deadly too!

Beauty is in the function as well. Looks extremely functional! I might try that trick on my CT grips, they are a little small for my paws too. I take it the tape doesn't interfer with the lasers switch?

The custom grip wraps are great, this is how a gun should look.

For me personally, guns are many things: tools, toys (sorta, for fun anyhow) and objects of beauty and admiration. I have guns that I consider one or the other and I have some that are all three.

I am looking for a good 4" revolver for my wife.

                  Nope, not at all.

I just cross-wrapped around it and trimmed a little with an X-acto knife.

Wife says it helps with the grip and the recoil.

By the title I thought is was going to be about hammering a nail with a 1911 or something.

                    Nice piece!

Tennis handle wrap is a good option as well

May not win any beauty contests you say, but I think it looks business. A bad guy isn't going to be seeing much of it anyway besides the little hole in the front.

I do believe that's what I bought at Academy Sports: tennis racket wrap
