S&W M&P 9c Purchase Difficulty

I'm sure this is going to get worked out just fine...but I had to say to myself...why am I not surprised?

I got this note from my FFL who is trying to track down a 9c for me.

Checking with Davidsons, it seems there's a problem with the DOJ Safe gun list, list says it's approved , S&W and Davidsons computer says not for sale in KALI!!! They're gonna try to get back to me today if not it will be Mon. They have 3 in stock.

Go figure !

ETA Yes...I am seeking the model 109204 (that's the 10 rd W/ magazine safety version) my FFL knows that....funny Davidsons and S&W are confused...but to be safe I'll remind my FFL of the "correct" model number for th Cali approved pistol.

All of the M&P's have versions with & without the mag disconnect. You have to be LE or other exempt person to get the one without the mag disconnect.

Despite the onerous PRK laws I suppose I should be grateful I do not live in New York, Jersey or Mass.
