Gunsmith recommendation - LA/OC

I'm looking to have some work done on a few handguns mostly 1911s. Any recommendations in the Los Angeles or Orange County are. Much appreciated.

Bolsa Gunsmithing in Westminster I hear is pretty good. From their website it appears that they have a pistolsmith but I've never had any work done there on a handgun.

No experience with Hoag, O'Hara nor JV but I fully concur on Alan Tanaka at AT Customs, he's overbooked but he's a great smith and hell of a nice guy. He does his own machining and his shop is fully equipped to do pretty much any machine work on the gun. If you need any work done on 1911 or S&W revolvers, you should look him up.

And on the Bolsa Gunsmith... not going back again.
