There is a lot of info out there (and I'm talkin about polymer guns) about aftermarket parts to improve trigger feel, via new sears, springs, etc. My question is this; how much of the poor trigger feel is from the trigger itself? All the SA polymer pistols seem to have some version of a dual action trigger, and yes, I do know the reasons. I can only speak about the Smith M&P series, but it sure seems like the trigger is constructed so cheesey that the operator must loose a lot of the "tactile" feel in the take-up.
My feeling is if the trigger assembly was built from a more ridged material than the cast polymer, and the pin to pivot fits were tighter, along with some Apex parts, that M&P would really be awsome. I'm gonna try it soon and will follow up. Any thoughts?
