Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment

I'm just glad you're (OP) looking at investing in training. This is a good thing. Don't just marry yourself to one single school of thought though. Take courses from several different places and you'll find out what matches your own personality. The key thing, though, is to have someone else who is able to watch you and point out things you need to work on and show you ways to do that. You'll end up improving on your own, with coaching to help you on the way.
I recently took a class for my CCW and found that I tend to pull the first couple shots low. I need to work on my trigger pull. Anticipation/pushing isn't the problem. But I'm starting to be able to pick up my sights much better while I'm shooting. Before, they were nice & clear until the shot then they'd blur out due to slide movement. Now... I'm better able to track what my sights are doing while the shot is being discharged. I'm getting better, slowly but surely.Last edited by CSDGuy; 12-20-2010, 1:26 PM.Comment

Bill Murphy runs Firearms Training Assiciates out of Norco in the inland empire. Bill is a retired SWAT cop and runs the Surefire Institute. Additionally he is a gunsite instructor and range master. Their training is world class and affordable. www.ftatv.comsigpicComment
