I'm thinking of selling my P7. Bought new in 1998, put maybe 50 rounds through it. Just want to gauge interest and what I may get for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

$1,200 would be a fair price with three magazines and good condition. How much holster wear?

Not much. I bought it with the intention of carrying it but never did. The holster and the mag case look brand new too.

With all due respect to leelaw, I think you should be looking at $1,600 - $1,850.

You probably paid $900 - $1100 for the P7M8 new, plus two extra mags at $50 - $75 each plus the leather.

The P7M8 and P7M13 models have appreciated in value. Given it's assumed excellent condition (LNIB), plus only 50 rounds down the pipe, extra mags and leather, I think I am in the right ballpark.

On a personal note, I think the P7M8 is one of the finest handguns ever made.

I own the P7M8, and it's a fine piece, but the reality is that the market is depressed.

The actual sales I'm aware of are in the 1K $ range, and I recently turned down one at that price.

If you have a NIB example and a fish on the line for the previous mentioned prices, I'd take the money and run.

If you're going to put it out there for 1.2K or above, I think you'll have a long wait.

Sold mine for $900. A year ago. P7M8... 2 mags box paperwork everything it originally came with. Very low round count. I'ts what I paid for it and sold it at within a 6month time frame. I lost out on Dros and Tax. Yes it was a good deal then too. Sold it to a friend. A year ago I could have sold it for a few hundred more. Not sure about today.
Times are tough sure but you have a pistol that has unique demand value for Trade or Cash either way. GLWS.

P7s are very collectible but you'll have to find someone who likes HKs.
