Magazine dropping out

Hello all, I have A Ruger MKII. The gun is about 10 years old and has seen at least 20,000 rounds. Recently my magazines have been dropping out after the last round. Seems to happen with all magazines, but is inconsistant. Happens about once every 5 magazines. The slide still locks back but the magazine is about 3/8" down from the magazine latch. It is just a target gun so not a big deal, just an annoyance. The magazine latch spring seems to be in great shape. Any ideas? Thanks, Sammy

Check the magazine catch spring I have seen some break. Has the magazine catch been changed over to an after market? The good news is that no mater what is wrong it wont cost more than $ 20.00 to fix.
