Hi-Standard 1911

Anyone have any experiance with this pistol?

The one im looking at is a standard "GI" style 1911.Any comments on fit & finish?(quality)

Basically,i really want a 1911,but im looking at low budget models like the Springfield Armory "GI" and hi-standard because i want to buy another S&W N frame soon too.

The Hi-Standard is about $459.99 new....

What do you think?

I think the price is high by about $50.00. I see them most often for about $400.00 and SJGE used to carry them for $397.00. Don't know about the quality - others will I'm sure.

get a Rock Island Armory 1911-A1, it's really nice and at $390 nib
