    i want a Ported Barrel

    Hello im new to calguns and just wanted to know if anyone knows were to buy a Ported Barrel for a ruger p-89?

    EFK Firedragon barrels



    I had a similar one for my Glock and it worked fine.

            It'll black out your front sight pretty quickly.

            No big deal most of the time, but scrubbing carbon off of your night sights sucks.
            It's not PTSD, it's nostalgia.

              How much of a difference does it make compared to a stock barrel?
              The EFK Firedragon barrel was very well made compared to a stock Glock barrel and the stainless finish was very nice for the money. I didn't have it that long but the ports or slits rather are small and you'll probably need a set of dental picks to clean off the lead or carbon deposits (if there's any buildup).

              One thing you can do is have the slide drilled for some port holes through the slide and EFK barrel if you want more porting. If you want, you can remove the front sight for more porting and replace the rear sight with a Docter red dot sight! Go this route if you got some money to burn.
