A couple of questions on the Kimber.Is the internal extractor better than the extrenal?And are those aluminum frames as good as the steel? Oh! some thoughts on that Swartz firing block?Thanks.

If your a purist, internal is the only way to go. Ive never had an issue with an external extractor. I wouldn't personally go with an alloy 1911. Although many wouldn't put enough rounds in it to see an issue, I would rather not have to worry about it. Weight for me in a 1911 is a good thing since I can't ccw anyways.Last edited by cmace22; 12-10-2010, 2:14 PM.Comment
