I want to purchase a smith and wesson 629-6 44 magnum, thats on gunbroker.com. the title on the listing states :SMITH AND WESSON 629 3" BBL 44 MAG LEW HORTON, my question is is that model on the doj list? would that be considered the 629-6 Trail Boss fluted cylinder thats on the doj list? or does the gun have to say trail boss on the barrel? i asked the seller that why is it a lew horton model and he said that lew horton was just the distributor for that gun, and that in fact that gun was ca legal. Would this be true? any info would be much appreciated. thanks
