    Kahr K9 question

Looking at buying a K9, looking on gun broker since they almost never come up for sale in the marketplace (you got one for sale let me know!) and i have a couple questions:

    1. There are a few models, the standard, the elite, and a NYPD spec, are all of these covered on the DOJ list?

    2. Do you have to pay sales tax on used guns bought off gunbroker? Ive only bought new ones from online vendors and had to pay tax on that but i assumed it was because it was new. I plan on doing the transfer at J&R in livermore so anyone who knows about them specificly would be great, honestly i probably wont even consider buying one online if i have to pay sales tax.

Thanks for any input its greatly appreciated

    K9098A / Stainless Steel Pistol 3.5" 9mm 4/4/2011
    K9098NA / Stainless Steel Pistol 3.5" 9mm 4/4/2011
    KP9093A / Stainless Steel, Polymer Pistol 3.5" 9mm 3/15/2011
    KP9093NA / Stainless Steel, Polymer Pistol 3.5" 9mm 3/15/2011
    KP9094A / Stainless Steel, Polymer Pistol 3.5" 9mm 10/14/2011
    KP9094NA / Stainless Steel, Polymer Pistol 3.5" 9mm 10/14/2011

I don't know about GB charging sales tax or not - I have never bought there. But I know that Bud's does not. You may want to look at what they have.

I have never paid sales tax on used guns bought from gunbroker. But since it would be collected by the FFL who brings it into CA, the smart move is to check in advance with the FFL you have selected.
