    My well loved p226!

just arrived today, it's my first Sig. Was a duty gun, guy I bought it from says not many rounds through it. I checked it out and the internals looked great, the barrel nearly new, the outside looks like it's been holstered and unholstered millions of times, and magwell looks pretty abused. Can't wait for the 10 days to be up, I'll be wasting 9mm like it was going out of style!!! I may eventually send it to Sig for refinishing, but right now I'm just gonna beat the hell out of it...Tim Oh yeah, if you want pics, have to wait, but it's nothing special, looks like a beat up non rail 226.

Congrats on a good pick up. You've got a good shooter there. So long as the holster wear is honest < > then there's nothing really wrong with that, is there?

Until you get some pix, here's my friend Sigmund, a P226 .40 cal, to tide you over.

The best SIGs are duty SIGs.

Here's my KB date code police trade-in... holster wear was included for free!!!

Not even a single hiccup as a USPSA Production gun.

Since we're posting our P226 pics...

I also like my P226 - a 9mm in factory nickel finish. I have shot it a fair amount at the range but don't holster it. I've had it about 9 years, but bought it used at that time.

I have the stock grip panels, in the blue hard case along with the lock and papers. I also have big hands and the tacky Hogues are a better fit for me. Also, being tacky in the other sense of the word, they provide a solid grip from draw through as many rounds as you'd want to fire.

Besides, I haven't rubbed enough nickles together yet to afford a set of Crimson Trace laser grips.

Congrats! I have a KH dated 226 9mm. I saved up the money to send it off to Bruce and Scott at Grayguns Inc for the full competition trigger work. Had them install the Dawson Fiber Optic and a Warren rear while it was there. The trigger is absolute 'butta!

5K rounds later it's still shooting circles around Glock and 1911 shooters in IDPA. Welcome to the club.

Thanks guys I actually bought it so I could try out IDPA, never done it. Seemed like a good pistol to start out with. The 28th can't get here soon enough!!!
