    CZ-52

I bought a CZ-52 a little while ago, I finally took it out and shot it. Needless to say it ran perfectly, no failures to feed or fire. The problem is it's far from accurate. From what I have read, every one says they are very accurate. At 25' I shot 70 rounds at a 1 liter bottle and only hit it once. Evey time I shot it, the bullets wouldn't go to the same aimed point. it would shoot high left then low left then way low left then hi right ect... By the looks of it the barrel and rollers were recently replaced. Another issue I had with it is trigger slap! Is there a way to deal with that? Any help with ides and solutions is aprecated.

No, it's not because I suck at shooting, with my glock I can shoot 1 liter bottles at 50' all day and not miss.

try using different ammo. sometimes surplus ammo is crimped really hard. When i had my cz-52 my groupings looked like a shotgun blast, then i used some wolf gold ammo and it shrunk the groupings down alot.

I shot a box of S&B, and a couple of lose rounds of surplus. All of it was all over the place.

I'd give it some more time if the barrel looks good. You'll get a better feel for the gun after a few hundred rounds. It's a strange design, although ingenious, and can take some time getting used to. Bring your target in to a standard self defense range and see how you do with it.

I noticed that the 7.62tok round makes me develop a bit of a flinch, but swapping it out to 9mm fixed that.

Wait, you were shooting at 25 feet or 25 yards? If you were at 25 feet (8 yards), I'd be really worried!

High left and low left. We all know what that means if your a right hander. Have someone put some snap caps in your mag somewhere, so it's a suprise. Maybe your flinching and don't even know it. I am not judging your skills as a shooter, but sometimes when people shoot new guns, including myself, it's takes awhile to get used too. I catch myself flinching until I get comfortable with it. Overgrip it, etc....Your so used to your Glock, your comfortable with it. Pretty soon you will be like what Glock, this thing shoots tight. Good luck and happy shooting with your new toy. I am jealous.

The barrel is retained by rollers that go bad due to lack of hardness. ONce they are bad they slide and get flat sided. They will wear the barrel or slide. Buy harrington rollers and you may be fine. Mine is very accurate even with surplus ammo.
