    concerned

Ok im looking for a 4566 pistol so i posted in the WTB ads, i recieved a pm from a member offering me one, good pistol. MY question is how would it be the safest way for me to pay the man without me getting ripped off, he's in another state. I know we have to go to a FFL to do the transfer but what would be the best or should i say the surest way for me to send him the payment, and making sure he sends the pistol? thanks any info will be appriciated

Buy guns FTF. Too much hassle and too much risk sending money to someone you dont know.

At the very least, get a money order and send with confirmation. That'll make it so he can't make excuses that he never received the money and you can get him on mail fraud if he tries anything funny.

I'm a big fan of FTF transactions, might not be worth the risk... check his iTrader feedback and overall calguns activity. If he's only got a handful of posts and zero trading feedback I'd be hesitant to get involved. If you go through with it, i'd get a postal money order with tracking and confirmation. If he doesn't follow through with the transaction its a federal issue.

Check in to "gunpal"! It is like paypal but for guns. That way there is permanent digital record and some recourse is you don't get the gun.

Just search for info on it here on Calguns. I think at one time there was a lot of info about it.

Hope it all works out for you!
